In our family, we call our women, The Garza Girls.  We’re passion-rearing, family loving, smartypants women. We know how to shoot a gun, bring home the bacon and host a dinner party  so good It’ll knock you on your butt. We’re educated, witty and full of as much class as we are of mischief. We’re loving and loyal to a fault.

I’m a ninth-generation Garza Girl, raising twin 6-year-olds with my partner, @la_gringa. I’ve been around the block in Social Media long before it was a catchphrase and part of brand teams and tiger teams before it was cool to have names for those kinds of things.  I’m a chef, a runner (even when I can’t run) and a photographer. Nowadays, I mostly spend my time proudly stirring the pot, raising hell and rearing children in the Bay Area.

The 9.9.9 Goal

I took on a self challenge on 9.9.9 to write a blog post each day for one year. There’s no point really to the exercise except the fun in finding something valuable each day. I hope to write 355 blog posts beore 9.9.10 and have set some rules for myself. Among them are:

A photo counts as a blog post

Pulling a “sneaky pete” and front-dating posts if I’m gonna be out of pocket is okay

One sentence, or short posts are okay

Being transparent is my goal as long as it keeps private stuff private
